Cameron Picton has only released one song with his new project My New Band Believe, but the former black midi guitarist and bassist has hit upon a sound that could have taken multiple albums to establish. Lecture 25, released last year, is urgent and jangly, almost tripping over itself in its eagerness to be heard. With all the melodic skitter of a Bright Eyes tune, we’re equally as eager to hear more from Picton’s new band.
