menig is the project of 18-year-old St Davids songwriter and producer Sam Kelly, whose intimate, emotionally rich music blurs the boundaries between lo-fi indie, alternative pop and immersive electronic production. His debut EP, cerddoriaeth o gymru, earned early support from BBC Introducing, while follow-up crowd sounds further established his gift for understated songwriting and immersive soundscapes. Exploring memory, identity and the emotional complexity of growing up, menig is quickly emerging as one of the most distinctive new voices from Wales.
