Growing up amid the churches, castles, and graveyards of Welshpool, Neve Cariad writes songs that are haunted by folk voices. Now based in Leeds, the musician and painter takes inspiration from Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny, John Martyn and Loudon Wainwright III, as well as Courtney Barnett and Julia Jacklin, colouring her own musical world with old-school Americana, 1960s folk, indie pop, and art rock.
